Calligraphy is the art of beautiful writing, involving the careful design and execution of letterforms using specific scripts. Each script has its own unique rhythm, strokes, and proportions, requiring attention to detail and a steady hand. Learning calligraphy involves not only mastering the individual letter forms but also understanding how to set the work out on paper to create visually appealing compositions. You will be amazed at what you can do .Join us to find out more.
What Three Words
Our next project is "What Three Words". Thinking about three words that sum up our childhood, the challenge is to use our calligraphy skills to write and illustrate these words on a 10x15 cm card. We need to make them interesting and thought provoking. We hope to exhibit them locally when we have completed the project so watch this space!
