A talk by John Winter

Reminiscences of  life in 1960’s Liverpool, the rise of the Beatles, the music scene and the success of the Liverpool football team as experienced by John Winter. Whilst studying Medicine, he simultaneously played in the band Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers, who had a couple of hits and toured with The Beatles on 1963. He is the fictional protagonist in his book Blame it on The Beatles and Bill Shankly. Illustrations, original photos of Hamburg and posters from this era will evoke memories for many  members.
Should members be interested, signed copies of the book will be available at the meeting and therefore bring cash. Card payment might be an option.
