We are a self-led group with no formal teacher. We meet on alternate Monday afternoons in Hargrave Village Hall between 2 & 4 pm. We also meet outdoors in various locations when the weather is suitable. There is a lot of space in Hargrave Hall. More recruits are welcome. None of us in an expert. If you can hold a pencil, you can draw!

Half way through the current 'term' our group have been trying out some new ideas. "Flower Pounding" is achieved by placing flowers or leaves on to paper, covering them with clear plastic and hammering them to transfer the colour from the flower to the paper - not as easy as it sounds or looks on videos! Different types of paper produced different results. Our next project is to produce one large picture from a photo cut into sections, one for each member of the group. Once each has completed his/her section it will be stuck together to produce the whole.

This summer the group took part in the exhibition for Hargrave Happy Day. We exhibited two large works - one was the drawing of the Millennium Gate in the church section; the other was a collage of drawings demonstrating what we had achieved last year.

The group finished for the summer in July but meets again in September.
